Muhariri: Government Kurti indicted, economic problems not resolved by office

Coronavirus, in addition to the health - causing crisis, has also caused economic damage. Even in 2020, it has been considered lost for the world economy.

Economic Affairs Director Arton Muhajeri, in an interview for Online Economy, has said that the incumbent government is guilty of failing to move the government to address the economic problem caused by the pandemic.

At this stage, according to him, the government headed by Albin Kurti has begun to collect problems and has taken no concrete action.

The crisis of pandemic, in addition to causing a health crisis, has also caused in the economy. “... because all the reactions have been delayed and problems are just piled up and more difficult to deal with. We are at this stage where we have the collection of economic problems and we have no initiative but political statements to seriously address the economic crisis caused by the pandemic COVIED-19”, he has said.

I emphasise among other things that the government, for reasons of ignorance, is neglecting to resolve the economic problem. He says problem solutions are not done by the office but by going out on the ground.

Because we're late in the emergency package, we're late with the economic recovery package. We still haven't passed the emergency package phase where there are businesses that haven't enjoyed the means that the Kosovo government has promoted and not to talk about economic recovery has yet to begin, so this is the serious problem”.

As he spoke about the issue, Muhharrier argued that companies have not been taken care of by the government.

There's no company that's directly under government care. Now we are in a situation where small businesses are in the direction of extinction, while middle businesses are just getting smaller because of the situation, because we have a delayed government response or a disinterest to address the economic problem. This comes as a consequence of political causes, and it mostly causes Kosovo citizens and the economy”, he said.
