Kosovo's acting prime minister, Albin Kurti, has talked today about the letter sent to US vice president Mike Pence.
Kurt before the media today at QKUK's yard said it was an old letter written in the middle of last month, writes news.net.
According to him, besides the US, the letter has been sent to EU institutions as well.
It's not this month's letter, but it's a letter written somewhere in mid-April. In February, March and April I have written many letters to all institutional leaders in the United States, as well as to those in the EU, because one of my duties is to communicate with all superpower centers, with all the friendly states and partners”, he said.
Kurti has now said that he has even thanked the US for the continued assistance he has told Kosovo.
“A letter that is almost a month old is not the letter of these days. With that letter I thank the United States for the continued support and support they have given us, just as I express my pledge that our commitment to good relations with the United States will continue.
Kurt also said that he in this letter is not complaining to anyone about Ambassador Green, but that he has expressed his views on dialogue.
I have also expressed our positions, as Kosovo government, as prime minister in office on various political issues, including dialogue. I have not complained to anyone about Ambassador Green, but I have expressed my views on this dialogue about how it should be principled. Because there's a lot of misinformation for our government, for me as a politician what I do and what I say, I have expressed my views that there be no misunderstanding”, Kurti said.
