The goods coming from Serbia to Kosovo are not subject to full reciprocity, as promoted by the incumbent government. Serbia's authorities do not accept documents with the Kosovo Republic inscription, while Kosovo authorities accept them in Serbia's inscription.
Reciprocity imposed on Serbian and Bosnian goods continues to find no full implementation. Many goods of origin from Kosovo do not allow Serbia's authorities to enter their country even if they are destined for European Union countries.
Kosovo goods transporters say Serbia's authorities do not accept documents with the inscription "The Republic of Kosovo" while Kosovo authorities accept them on Serbian inscriptions.
Kosovo institutions are informed about this issue, since the Kosovo government has formed an institutional mechanism for assessing the implementation of reciprocity with Serbia and Bosnia.
“Remember that such cases are identified in the work reports of this inter-institutional mechanism for the evaluation and monitoring of reciprocity measures and all those that have been identified will be addressed and for all the cases for which there are claims will be investigated”, the government spokesman told RTK.
Reciprocity imposed on April 1st on Serbian and Bosnian goods is expected to become a re-evaluation mid-June, where additional decisions are expected on the basis of the report's findings.
