The incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has used his powers tonight to legitimise the protest that his party, Vetevendosje, has invited by 5 tomorrow.

Kurt has held an electronic evening meeting to change the health ministry's decision to stop public gatherings in pandemic times.

Kurti government changed the decision at 11: 00 a.m., and according to the communiqué issued for the media, it has justified allowing public gatherings with the decision to open mosques and churches.

Acting Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo Albin Kurti, in accordance with the Government's Labour Order, has called for the corresponding collection, the 36th meeting of the Government, in which the decision proposed by the Health Ministry for the reopening of shrines and a decision on additional depletion of property affected by the construction of the border checkpoint between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Northern Macedonia, in Stanciq of the Gjilan municipality.

The Kosovo government at the request of the Ministry of Health has made the fulfillment and change of the Government's decision, under which gatherings in all public and private spaces were banned. With the approved complements and changes, the reopening of mosques and churches for reduced numbers of believers are made in relation to the surfaces of these shrines. Temples in this case are bound to adhere to IKSHP and OBS's recommendations for remote storage, use of masks and personal hygiene.

Also, at this meeting, the Government has approved the final decision on additional expropriation for public interest in real estate, affecting the construction of the border crossing facility between the Republic of Kosovo and Northern Macedonia in Stanciq of the Gjilan municipality.
