Italy has set the date for reopening bars, restaurants and salons in easing deadlock measures from COVID-19.
Bares, restaurants, wigs and salons will be reopened throughout Italy from May 18th, Reuters reports.
Regional authorities have been given the power to lift restrictions on businesses, which had initially been due to reopening on June 1st.
The move, announced by the government late last night, came after pressure by regional leaders to be allowed to create their own re-opening plan.
Security measures will have to be implemented before institutions are opened, with restaurants required to set fourm distances between dinners, the news broadcasts.net.
There were 744 new cases of coronary growth in Italy on Monday since March 4th. Deaths rose from 179 to 30,739.
