In the new economic plan just approved by the Cteon government at a value of 55 billion euros in helping the economy hit strongly by the first phase of the country's isolation and the closure of any economic and production activity, the health sector has a particular voice with the objective of multiplanetation and regranding of this sector, as well as strengthening public health guarantee.
The motion government has made 3 billion and 200 thousand euros available to this sector by the end of 2020. Another 3,500 beds will be added to the Intensive therapy departments, and another 4,250 beds in emergency departments that can be transformed immediately into intensive therapy. 300 beds in the Intensive therapy departments will be ready by 31 December 2020, divided into 4 designated areas of territory with 75 states each.
The Italian government has established the introduction of a new figure in the Italian health system, of the family nurse in community service.
It has decided to employ about 9,000 new nurses in the public health system, as well as a number of social and socio-sanitary assistants.
Also in the 2020-2024 period, 100m euros will be put on hold to finance specialised scholarships for health sector employees.
Many financial sources will be made available to military health services, as well as the National Emergency Fund will increase by 1.5 billion euros.
Interventions will be conducted and in restructuring of emergency departments as well as public health transport systems.
