Former Kosovo Telekom chief Bedri Istrefi has spoken of the country's president's statements, who last night during a televised debate, said incumbent Prime Minister Kurti, Deputy Prime Minister Haki Abazi and acting Minister of Internal Affairs Jhelal Svecla have entered the surveillance chamber in Kosovo Telekom.
Isrefi for Front Online said this special room in Telekom exists, but no one has the right to enter it except the State Prosecutor.
There's a special room under the legal conditions that every mobile operator has to have that room coming in, a software supporting the police, AKI, justice organs in the country”, he said.
He said the prime minister's visit to office, joined by his subordinates to Telekom, took place after his dismissal from chief post.
Isef said his dismissal by the new board of this company has been triggered so that people without legal procedures can enter Telekom.
The prime minister, the minister of interior in office, has come to Telekom because I am fired, not by accident, has also taken place in order to establish someone who obeys political orders, to enter and exit without any legal procedure. In that room except for the State Attorney, neither officials nor I as chief chief chief has visited that room, nor has the Prime Minister nor any minister the right to enter the room where it is the server supporting law organs, lawbreakers to be tapped”, Istrefi said.
Asked whether there were evidence from the prime minister's security cameras that entered the surveillance room in Telekom, Istrefi said such a thing did not happen because, as he said, that day they did not work.
On the same day as they visited, the cameras were out of place, let's see that it's misusing the position of the designated people who are in institutions and illegals to get information that are important”, Istrefi said.
He called on the State Prosecutor to start working to prove whether this is true and lawbreakers to justice.
The procedure has to be as soon as it does its job to confirm the accuracy of whether they entered and received a note if they have only received or if they have just entered that room that is illegal, anyone who is, must respond to the constitution”, Istrefi said.
The prime minister in office, Albin Kurti, today during a media conference, the president's charges regarding the wire room called them lies.
