Internationally sought, arrested in Durres

A person who was declared internationally in search has been arrested in Durres.

Durres Police in co-operation with the National Central Office, Interpol Tirana, have cuffed citizens with initial F.T.E. 49-year-old residents in Gepalaj, Shijak, Durres.

This citizen was declared international in search of Interpol Roma, Italy, under the international warrant issued by the Pavias Court, Italy, for criminal work “Narcotics Trafficking”.

Pro-visual arrest was carried out in order to extradite him to Italy, based on “the European Extraditional Convention” and the bilateral agreement on extraditions, signed between the Republic of Albania and Italy.
