Some sixty workers of this service, who are in charge of protecting President Donald Trump and other high officials, are currently in quarantine because of the pandemic, according to Homeland Security Department documents.
Whether any of the infected persons were in close contact with the White House head or with Vice President Mike Pence, writes “Daily Mail”, the Express broadcast.
The Secret Service offers close protection and security to the president, vice president and world leaders who visit the United States.
Secret Service spokeswoman Justine Whelan said the agency has followed instructions from the Center for Disease Control, but refused to show how many of the infected workers have worked at the White House.
