Former Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj has wished Europe Day saying Kosovo is on the European road, and is part of its construction.
Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Enver Hoxhaj, through a writing on the social Facebook network, has said that after Europe had experienced two World Wars, it started to build a co-operation between its states so that peace between them will be stable and not end in bloody wars.
Hoxhaj, wrote that so began a new era of Europe, constructing this co-operation in a joint body called the European Union.
Full status on Facebook:
After experiencing two world wars, Europe began to build a collaboration between its countries so that peace between them would be lasting and would no longer end in bloody wars. Thus began a new era of Europe, constructing this co-operation in a joint body called the European Union. Since then, Europe's Day began to be marked, the date marking not only an organised structure or a geographic unit, but, above all, marking a path to be followed. This is the European route, the road to a common family of nations, where our differences are our common value.
Europe is a way. Like Kosovo, we are on this road too. Maybe somewhere further than others, but together we do what's called “the construction of the common house”.
This day is most important just to us! May we always feast together.
