Hoti: As we analyze the relief measures, caution is still needed

After easing measures and starting operating a number of businesses, the Health Ministry is analyzing further steps. The second phase will begin May 18th, while the third phase will begin early in June.

The director of the Department of Information at the Ministry of Health in Kosovo, Faik Hoti, in an interview for Online Economics said that between one and the other phase, there will be a re-evaluation of the effects that has produced the release of measures and co-onform developments of the epidemiological situation will be influenced by other decisions.

The Ministry of Health, along with the IKSF, will analyse the course of the situation and in the next stages, re-evaluate the effects of these measures and be seen if there are other measures to be taken, with certain activities being released in these stages to operate further”, Hoti stressed.

Hoti also told of epidemiologists ' warnings that the virus can be returned if we are not careful.

The deterioration of the situation can affect the return, it is very important that businesses and dogs abide by the rules the Ministry has set during this phase. The situation is under control, the fact that we have small numbers of people who ended up dying shows that there was a good management of the situation. Hoti said the Ministry of Health and the National Institute of Public Health and Health structures are mobilised to complete the first wave, which is happily heading towards calm in recent days because there are more patients who recover compared to the number of those who result positive.

Hoti stressed that institutions must be mobilized to prepare for a new evental wave of Coronavrius that may come in autumn, winter.
