The African heat, after about 10 days, again stormed southern Europe.
From temperatures of up to 37 °C marked on the Iberian Peninsula in the early days of May, May 13th-17th bring up to 35-40 °C to the other end of Europe.
Hot air will climb from Africa to the Central Mediterranean and the Balkans, causing the thermometers during noon to climb to 40 °C in southwestern Turkey.
From today to the next midweek, the thermometer will rise from 35 °C to 38 °C in southern Italy and the Balkan region from Bosnia to Greece's coast, while at the height of this heat wave Turkey will face, where the thermometer will mark temperatures from 39-40 °C, writes a2news.
