Former U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has managed to raise $2 million for the Joe Biden candidate campaign during a conference organised with the “Zoom” app.
Named for presidential candidates in 2016, she hosted this conference through the famous app, while Democratic Party officials said the total amount of $60.5 million was the largest to have gathered in a single organisation when the candidate was not present.
The organisation influenced that the money raised for the Democratic Party candidate to be approached by the amount of $61.7m this month from the Republican National Committee for Donald Trump.
This is being praised as a major achievement for former US Vice President Joe Biden's campaign because of the situation created by the Coronavirus, when politicians are being forced to campaign from distance through internet organisation or TV interviews.
