Haradinaj: Lapusnik Battle, one of KLA's most glorious battles

The chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has said the battle of Lapusnik, held twenty-two years ago from May 8th to 10th, was among the most glorious battles of liberation war.

According to Haradinaj, this battle marked a turning point of importance in the development of the frontal war, cutting off one of the main arteries of supply.

“With humility and respect we remember and honor, 47 witnesses and 54 Martyrs who fell on the altar of Kosovo freedom. The heroism of freedom fighters was unprecedented”, he wrote.
