Hakki Abazi has compared yesterday's Constitutional Court decision to the Serbian Army's attacks on Kosovo.
Mr. Franco, we have a history in 1989, when Serbia with tanks and the army of police came to the 1974 Constitution. Citizens have defended that Constitution, from 1997 to attempt to ethnically clean Kosovo, again with paramilitary tanks. I think that last night in the late hours there has been an attack on the constitutionality of our country and this attack on constitutionality reminds us of the tendency for Kosovo citizens and society to be stripped of the institutional aspect of state”, says Abazi in the following interview, the part that you can hear from 13 to 15 x2>
The statement on Balkan Talks has said the Constitutional Court indicated it is captured.
“We expected it to be decided for new elections, turning decision-making into sovereign, since there was a no-confidence motion in Parliament. With last night's decision, like many other Kosovo institutions, indicated it is caught, politically influenced and acted in favour of turning political power to an old body of”, Abazi said.
Asked whether the Vetevendosje Movement would accept the decision of the highest Constitutional institution in Kosovo, Mr. Prime Minister replied they would accept it but do not agree with that decision.
Subsequentity is one thing, while reconciliation with the court's decision we have made public. We will continue to say that the Constitutional Court has legitimised itself by making a political pamphlet rather than an interpretation of the process where Kosovo” is located, he said.
