Starting on 15 June, Greece will open borders with 29 countries for tourists with flights to Athens and Thessaloniki.
The list of 29 countries was drafted after a study of the epidemiological profile of tourist origin countries and after yesterday's announcements of the European Air Safety Agency (EASA), as well as the relevant proposal of the Infectious Diseases Committee, were taken into account.
This list includes Albania, Australia, Austria, northern Macedonia, Bulgaria, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Estonia, Japan, Israel, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Leros Lebanon, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, Norway, South Korea, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Finland, broadcast Tch.
Visitors from these countries will be examined, while for all others existing rules are still implemented.
In any case, monitoring and epidemiological assessment will be continuous, as stressed by Greece's Tourism Ministry.
