France could restore isolation measures across the country if there were increased numbers of infected people, said Health Minister Olivier Veran.
If the virus were to spread again viciously, we would still take isolation measures”, Veran told BFM television.
France has imposed an eight-week impasse since 17 March to slow down the spread of the new Coronavirus.
On May 11th, these measures are gradually being removed.
On May 10th, France reported 70 new deaths from COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronary.
This is the lowest number of deaths in recent weeks.
A total of 26,380 casualties from the Coronavirus have been recorded in France so far.
