About 5:45 today ( Sunday) a 26-year-old from Gjilan has died after falling from the fifth floor of the convoy at the Students Centre in Pristina.
His death has been confirmed by KKUK Emergency Clinic Director Gzim Mustafa.
Mustafa said the 26-year-old has gone to QKUK with serious injuries mainly at the base of his head.
We confirmed death. He came with heavy marks on his head. There was a bloodbath from the ears, nose, mouth, and big fractures. So the injuries were deadly”, Mustafa said afterwards, death had confirmed even the Kosovo Police.
Meanwhile, a witness has told the media that he had asked not to stay at the Students Centre that is being exploited as Karantina because of health problems.
Sources have told Periscopi that the late man had applied to the Kosovo Embassy in Germany to return to Kosovo and on his return here, had shown the authorities all documents proving his state of health, respectively suffering from depression but was ignored by the authorities here.
The Ministry of Health has also reacted in the case.
“At the site of the event, the person has been reanimated from the medical team of quarantine until the arrival of the ambulance with the medical team, who also continued to respond even during his transfer to the QKUK Emergency Clinic”, has been said at the Ministry's announcement.
For this occasion, political parties in Kosovo have reacted, demanding responsibility from the Ministry of Health and Government in office.
Kosovo's president has also reacted by saying that this death cannot remain enigmatic.
A few days earlier, the Ministry of Health has been sharply criticised, as documents appeared in public showing how incumbent Minister Vitita had released some from Karantina in Pristina, under the argument that they had health problems. /Periscopi/
