Declared by the Constitutional Court: We are treating Vetevendosje subject with urgency

The Vetevendosje movement on 30 April had submitted President Hashim Thaci's decree for Avdullah Hoti to the Constitutional Court as the candidate for prime minister, writes news.net.
Vetevendosje had taken this move, claiming President Hashim Thaci had committed deliberate violations of the Constitution by decreeing Avdullah Hoti.
As a result, the Constitution had decided to suspend the decree in question until May 29th, when it is the last date this institution will make its final decision.
In an answer to news.net, the Constitutional Court has made it known that Vetevendosje subject is being dealt with urgently and will come up with a decision after Friday.
In the media communiqué published on May 1, 2020, the Court has made it clear that this subject is being handled with urgency and priority. After accepting comments from all parties of interest according to the requirements (according to the deadline set by Friday, May 8, 2020) and after reviewing all constitutional aspects of the parties' claims, the Court will make a meritary decision regarding the total” demand, the Constitutional Court's response to the news.net says, not specifying a precise day or date.
On the other hand, incumbent Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has also addressed the Venice Commission in connection with the decree of Avdullah Hoti, said otherwise regarding the constitutionality of President Thaci's move on Hoti's decree.
During Tuesday, however, the Venice Commission has praised that an interpretation of it in a request led by incumbent Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti to interpret the president's competencies about the dissolution of the new government and formation would be a violation of the authority of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo.
