This is one of the first judgments through the Zoom app that judges use because of the coronary.
Judge Mojisola Dada of Lagos sentenced Olalekan Hamed to death for killing an employee's mother.
The hearing lasted nearly three hours and lawyers attended. Hamed was acquitted of killing 76-year-old Jolasun Ocusanya.
The court decides to hang you from your neck until you're declared dead. May God have mercy on your soul. It's a virtual court ruling, “the judge said.
In Nigeria some 3,000 people have been infected with coronarys, and 100 have died.
