The Kosovo National Centre for Blood Transfusion has made it known that in Kosovo there is a lack of blood, all of this has resulted from pandemic.
And after that announcement, many citizens raided objects of blood transfusion to donate blood.
Director of the National Blood Transfusion Center Dr. Beauty Zhubi, told Online Economy that in this time of the pandemic, this institute has had a lack of blood and, as such, is in critical condition of blood supply.
“The blood donation should be continued despite the time of pandemic, where this time is with specific specifics and there are specific requirements for blood donation. The gift of blood differs from the time we have given in normal times and now in times of indigestion”.
The key thing to stress is that we must have continued blood donation, because blood cannot endure eternally, despite the large blood reserves that we have had at our disposal, it has been spent and reached the stage when we have reached the state of extremely low and critical stock, and for that reason we have appealed to donate”, Zhubi said.
Ismet Feyzu God from Podujevo has just learned of a lack of blood, he has responded positively, who has donated blood for 23 times.
I gladly accepted as a constant blood donation volunteer at this time, and today I also responded to the invitation. As I recall, it's 23 times that I donate blood to”, he said.
Ylldin Uglari of Vushtrria also said that he feels good every time he donates blood.
It's the second time I donate blood and I appeal to all those who can and who feel good to donate blood, that someone really needs blood, and we need to get to help”, he said.
Of course, Edmond Halili, a doctor-cardiologist at KKUK, responded. He said that with blood donated, a person feels good spiritually and organically.
I'm feeling great. It's the second time I've been giving blood. It's something that spiritually and organically a man feels good, and at this time we responded to the call that blood transfusion needs blood reserves, and it seems they had limited capacities during the time of pandemic, and we responded to an invitation”, he said.
And Xhemajl Shala, a blood donation volunteer, said that once she learned of a lack of blood, she was given a transfusion to donate.
Shala has appealed to all those in good health to donate blood, reports EO.
I'm voluntary in blood and now I read it through the media because they need blood, and I came to donate blood. I appeal to everyone who's probably coming to donate blood because I see they need blood and it's been good for everyone, he said.
