Conjufca at the meeting with Quinn: KSF to Have Expanded International Co-operation

The incumbent's defence minister, Anton Quinn, hosted incumbent Foreign Affairs Minister Glauk Konjufca today, where they discussed inter-ministerial co-ordination opportunities for foreign co-operation, in relation to NATO and other international security and defence organisations.

First, Minister Kuni announced Minister Konjufca for Ministry and KSF activity on commitments the KSF has made in coping with the COVID-19 pandemic, with tasks and activities that have been planned.

He also spoke of the broad co-operation the MM has with international partners, with NATON stressing good daily co-operation with the NATO Interconnecting Team (NALT).

The two ministers then discussed the possibilities for inter-ministerial co-ordination with abroad, in relation to NATO and other international security and defence organisations. For sending KSF on peacekeeping missions abroad; for the timing of the mandate of defence attachés abroad; co-ordinating activities for membership in A-5 (the Adriatic Charter- The U.S.) and other points”, said in communique.

Minister Konjufca, in turn, praised The KSF for its success, thanking and expressing special gratitude for the contribution of the KSF during the pandemic to the return of Kosovo citizens and transport them from the airport HINA Jasharı in quarantine from the specialised KSF transport.

He expressed readiness for co-operation between the two ministries to deepen in the common areas, stressing that we will do all that is needed by the MPJ for the KSF to have broader international co-operation and commitments within the framework of the world's peacekeeping missions, with the goal of incuigating NATO that is the goal of the state of Kosovo.
