In the wake of charges from the US and other Western states, that China has not been honest about the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, leaders of the Asian state have made the decision to allow investigations by the World Health Organisation (OBSH).
But the investigation according to them should be “open, transparent and sweeping” and carried out after the pandemic has disappeared.
China informed me it will support O The BSH in efforts to uncover the origin of pandemic, but declared that any investigation should be scientific and not in a political context.
Beijing has dismissed any charges. Recently, authorities in this country speculate that the virus may have originated outside China.
A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman accused US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo of making up his “evidence by creating a lie to cover another” lie.
