Finance and Transfers Minister Besnik Bislimi, on Kosovo's “life show”, has shown how much money has been collected from the diaspora to the government fund for the COVID-19 pandemic.
The diaspora's <x0.0 mL are being poured into the COVID account and there are donations, there are about 730,000 euros if I'm not mistaken. This account is open at the request of the diaspora, they have requested to open an account that they are willing to contribute”, Bislimi said.
Bislem has also shown how their distribution will take place.
There has been a decision in the ministry that these tools are not used for the emergency package, but to be used so that when a device is bought they know the diaspora that this device in this clinic was bought by them”, he said.
We've got to get demands from M.S. that this device of this value would have to buy by diaspora means, so you know, because if we divide it to 170 euros for diaspora money, it's not right”, Bislim added.
On 12 April, via a video, incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti sought help from the Kosovo diaspora to help the state of Kosovo fight the spread of coronavirus.
