Juristi Besnik Berisha has said it has been expected that the Venice Commission would not be released in interpretation of constitutional issues, following Kosovo's incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti's request.
The “As a commission has been able to give instructions that are in a constitutional spirit. The response the Government has received is clear, expected, known, since the case has been passed to the Constitutional Court to provide constitutional interpretations. This suggests that this issue remains pending by the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, and the epilogue will receive it at this point”, Berisha has said, Kosovo reports.
The “is the first time that has been applied by Kosovo institutions in the Venice Commission. The government's expectations were that they would be issued in detail”.
Berisha for Info Magazine has stressed that the Constitutional Court's decisions should be respected by all parties, even when an issue is not in their favour.
It must be acknowledged that justice should be accepted only by institutions that are mandated not only when it comes down. The Constitutional Court has provided evidence in the past is the court that can give stable opinions”.
