But citizens complain it is costing them interest.
Meanwhile, BEC officials had pledged there would be no interest in this extension of the deadline.
In a written response to Radio Kosovo, the BEC spokesman, Kufi Ahmeti, invites citizens who face this situation to head to the CEC.
He says despite the situation with Coddy-19, The CEC handles any complaints of users of financial services and acts based on legislation in force, including the taking of administrative measures.
By contrast, the Kosovo Central Bank, due to the Devid-19 pandemic and its economic impact, had made the decision to postpone payment of loan installments for all bank customers for three months.
