Club by American league, M LS, FC Cincinnati has confirmed the appointment of Jaap Stam to coach post.
In an extraordinary gaffe, however, the club from the East Conference used a photo of Tinus van Teunenbroek to announce about Stam's appointment, Periscope broadcasts.
On her Twitter page, FC Cincinnati welcomed “Stam” with message: “Join us in welcoming the new coach, Jaap Stam. ”
The picture was not Stam, but Ajax Young coach Tinus van Tenenbroek.
Pretty embarrassing situation.
Suddenly, the post was not deleted for two hours until eventually it was removed.
The MLS club then used the right picture of the new coach. /Periscope. com/
