Invited to the “Drive Time” on Radio Pristina, Ahmeti has said the first case that could have infected the hospital's personnel is not yet known.
We unfortunately have a situation in which a private hospital on the outskirts of Pristina seems to be the hearth of the pandemic, so far neither from the IKSHPK but cannot be known where the” infection came from, Ahmeti said.
Ahmeti has indicated that there are a large number of contacts from that hospital that have been tested since yesterday.
There are a large number of contacts from that hospital that have been tested yesterday and continue in the coming days. This has disturbed us since we have so far had the infection isolated, and since this has happened, we are forced to be careful”, Ahmeti added, should say the situation is under monitoring but there is no room for relaxation.
As for the possibility of restoring the capital to quarantine, Ahmeti said this decision belongs to the Ministry of Health and IKSHPK.
If the number of infected continues to rise, decisions are made by the Ministry of Health with recommendations of the IKSHPK. So far, we have no information or warnings that we will return to quarantine or any other distributive measures, but we must be careful”, he added.
