Abrashi: LDK made Kurtin prime minister, VV's decree more inoctrination than normal policy

A day after the Constitutional Court's decision that came to the conclusion that the president's decree for the nomination of Avdullah Hoti for prime minister, LDK deputy Arban Abashi said they have been convinced in this decision.

We actually say the same attitude we've said long ago that the LDK will respect the Constitutional Court's decision, not only that, but the earlier decisions because the Constitutional Court as the highest body should be respected. Above all, there is a legal and constitutional obligation that all public organs, including the Parliament and Government, respect and co-operate with the Constitutional Court”.

“Anyway, we've sent our comments and we've been convinced of this kind of bias, because we're talking about a parliamentary democracy where the essence is the majority in the Parliament”.

We welcome this decision and invite all political subjects as now, but in the future whatever cases arise in the Constitutional Court to respect those decisions”.

Abrashi at the Info Magazine of Kosovo has commented on all remarks that the Vetevendosje Movement has done against the LDK and other parties where, among other things, it says that “marions of President Hashim Thaci” have taken place, as long as the Constitutional Court estimates that “listed with state interceptors”.

That's not true at all. I feel sorry for this language and the horror you're pushing ahead of the Vetevendosje Movement, and it looks more like endoctrination than normal politics. We're talking about parliamentary democracy, where it's all about the Parliament that chooses other bodies, both the president and the government”.

Such a approach does not do democracy in Kosovo good. This approach is not only today, but since Albin Kurt's government we have seen that they have violated the Constitution and its decisions and that they have acted as if nothing is happening and that seems to be the way of policymaking them”.

“Albin Kurti is not finding himself in this political system, cannot function within this constitution and is going out of constitutional order, and that's bad for the Vetevendosje Movement and for the citizens of Kosovo, because it's inoctriing me very falsely”.

The general discursives that are using as sentences are all listed under the president, the old “Garda in LDK, the long-standing party shows they don't have the basic sense of policymaking and the elemental sense of co-operation. The constitution in Kosovo imposes compromise and consensus among political subjects, so if a party chairman repeatedly says someone is old, bad, and they don't know this is unacceptable and this represents an exception to this political sense”.

But what does Arba Abrashi say about possible protests that could organise the Vetevendosje Movement to challenge the Constitutional decision?

If someone constantly violates the Constitution and is being lobbied for the Constitution not respected, then the responsible bodies must take concrete action”.

How does he see the fact that the government can be created by all other political subjects, without the involvement of the winning subject in this case is the Vetevendosje Movement?

“Albin Kurti and all his sympathisers should know that the LDK has made Albin Kurtin prime minister. It was the agreement between Vetevendosje and LDK that produced Albin Kurti as prime minister, because there were no 61 Vetevendosje deputies to form the government”.

“The LDK has made other prime ministers, including Ramush Haradinaj. We've given Albin Kurt a chance to show himself, but it's not the LDK's problem why he didn't manage the coalition the way a prime minister looks at”.

When will the House of Government vote be held?

“We were willing to form the government weeks ago, before the provisional measure is set. When we submitted the request for mandates we have had signatures with the necessary parliamentary majority. We have that same majority, if not more, and we aim to form the government as soon as possible because by August of last year Kosovo has no stable government and this is causing major economic damage”.

We are looking forward to the day when we form the government. It has to do with internal inter-institution procedures, we wait for the entire material and judicial action by the Constitutional Court to surrender to the parties, and once we get the decision we submit the application for the session. I hope the delivery of this material will happen during the weekend.
