Today's morning has been marked the victim of 27 by Covid-19 in Kosovo. The patient who has passed away is a 63-year-old man from Dragashi who, in addition to the coronary infection, has also had chronic kidney disease and other accompanying diseases.
Infectian Valbon Krasniqi has told Kosova pris that 12 patients are currently being treated in this clinic, while today four patients cured of the coronary.
We have 12 patients at the clinic right now affected by Coddy-19. The state of health and nine of them is very good, while two people are in oxygen therapy. While, in the intensive department, we continue to have in very serious condition a 73-year-old man, who, in addition to surveillance by the infection in collaboration with the anesthesiologist, is being monitored 24 hours in intensive care and his condition is valued critically”, Krasniqi said.
He has also spoken of the death of the 27th victim from COID-19 in Kosovo, who is a patient from Dragashi.
A 63-year-old woman from the municipality of Dragas, who was admitted to the Infectious Clinic 12-13 days ago, has failed in the morning hours. True, along with infection it has also had kidney failure, and as a result it has been in regular chronic dyalisisis, diabetes diseases”, Krasniqi adds.
In addition, it says that two cases have been accepted at the Infectious Clinic last night, where a 2-year-old child and her mother have shown more pronounced symptoms of the virus but are now stable.
“Day, in clinics two new cases have been accepted with positive Covid, but they are not patients who were confirmed yesterday, they were confirmed by 26 last month. There are times that have been at home, and because of manifesting certain symptoms of the disease, they have come to the clinic. It's the mother with her daughter, two years and ten months. Their situation is currently stable”, Krasniqi said.
Infectian Krasniqi shows that of these 12 patients, the most pressing case is the 80-year-old patient, but there are even younger ages, but according to him, the same are stable.
He says that despite the small number of cases presented in recent days, citizens must continue to maintain personal hygiene and be careful with physical distance.
“Ende has several locations in different Kosovo settlements, we still have a large number of contact persons who are being monitored by teams on the ground, and despite the fact that we need to breathe more freely, we still shouldn't have general relaxation. We still need to be attentive, we must alertly follow the epidemiological situation at the local level. Eventually, the new cases presented, I would advise citizens to continue covering their faces and mouths”, Krasniqi said.
In Kosovo, 860 cases of COVID-19, 533 have been confirmed, while 27 have died.
