As of May 8th, a special space has been dedicated to the victims of coronarys in the United States, where their relatives send a brief story to those who have lost the battle with David-19.
Among them is a 72-year-old Albanian woman, an immigrant in New York, whose story she told on CNN and her daughter.
Nagija Djirdija and her husband left the Balkans in the 1970s and emigrated to the United States, where their daughter, Freedom, says they “celebrated the American dream”. The Djidija couple had four children, while last November marked the 55th anniversary of the marriage. On April 1, 2020, unfortunately, Nagija lost her life in a cardiac arrest after being diagnosed by Corleone.
We were the light of her life, as was that light of our lives. But she didn't want anyone more than my father, says Freedom. “Never passed a day apart”.
