Infectian Valbon Krasniqi tells Kosovo Press that out of these 36 patients, five of them are in shemodialis.
We have 36 patients with Covid-19 who are lying in the clinic. We have three more patients waiting for results today. While the general situation, 29 of them are stable, in good condition. Five of us have oxygen therapy, and two others are in the intensive care of our clinic, in a more serious and critical condition. Of these 36, five are also in regular hehemodialisis now, and several years -- 18x1>, Krasniqi says.
The two patients who are currently in serious condition, Krasniqi stresses they are over 60 years old.
“are of various ages, meanwhile, these intensives are a 63-year-old and a 74-year-old... There are three that have been admitted to the clinic today, and during the evening we expect results”, Krasniqi said.
Over the last 24 hours, six suspects with Covid-19 have been admitted to the Infectious Clinic, but none of these have proved positive.
We have 170 cured patients, while we have 60 new cases confirmed. We're waiting for reason for this trend to continue. It could happen, we're still in time of pandemic, it could happen that one day there's a higher number of new cases. However, for good reason, we expect this trend of the small number of new cases to go down by”, he says.
Among other things, Krasniqi says optimistic that there is room for free breathing, yet not for general relaxation.
We have 450 more active cases with positive Covid, so they're still in their homes. We have a lot of people under surveillance, so they're like contact people, but I believe we're fine... Of course, there is room for easy breathing, no time for general relaxation, yet we need to be vigilant. We should be very attentive to the first epidemiology performance in Kosovo, but eventually the number of cases that will be presented in serious forms of the disease or those who need to be admitted to the hospital”, he said.
According to Krasniqi, citizens must continue to wear masks, take maximum care of personal hygiene, and also maintain physical distance. Meanwhile, there are 823 confirmed people with coronarys, 366 have recovered, and 22 of them have died.
