31 Restored Patients, Eight Coronavirus Cases in Kosovo

Today on May 09th 2020, at the IKSHPK Mactic Microbiology Laboratory with RT- The PCR, a total of 177 samples taken by the Infectious Clinic and the tracking of ground-related contacts.

With SARS-CoV-2, eight cases have been diagnosed.

Positive cases are cases of contact from -- Pristina municipality 3 cases (in place of Pristina: 3 cases), Mitrovica municipality 2 cases (according to residence: 2 cases Mitrovica) and with 1 case settlements: Lazarus-Obilic, Fushe Kosovo and Gjilan.

Today, on May 09, 2020, 31 patients have been cured until the total number of cures to date is 653 cases.

Between February 08th and May 09th 2020, at the Medieval Microbiology Laboratory in IKSHPK with RT- The PCR, a total of 9,734 suspicious samples in the SARS-CoV-2 virus have been tested, and of them positive results in 880 cases, with 28 cases of death having had other accompanying diseases.

In the IKSHPK in a continuous 24-hour period is being contacted and monitored by all case contacts, as well as contact contacts by binding them for self-isolation and seeking medical assistance if they have symptoms.

Globally, from December 31, 2019 to May 09, 2020, a total of 4,077,955 cases of COVID-19 and 279,071 cases of death were reported.
