The number of patients being treated there has returned to the Infectious Clinic. There are 21 patients lying in this clinic on Monday. Five of them have oxygen therapy and a patient in intensive care.
Infectologist Vera Berisha-Wreja tells Kosovo that the patient situation is good, while the results are expected during the day for three people.
There are 21 patients in the Infectious Clinic, of which 13 are already fully positive. And we have five patients with oxygen therapy. We have five other patients who by the rules have resulted twice negative, but they still need treatment. And three other patients are waiting for results that don't mean that doesn't change the number during the day depending on the flow of citizens... so we have five in oxygen therapy and a patient is in intensive care, but he's also on oxygen-ortherapy<x1...
While talking about the condition of the patient being treated in intensive care, it shows that she is over 50 years old.
The patient in intensive treatment is somewhere around 52 years old. Other patients are of different ages, but we don't have very young ages”, she points out.
The increase in the number confirmed with Covid-19, and those being treated at the Infectious Clinic, according to her, is not innovation, since Berisha-Reja considers the number could increase.
Make people appear at certain times, not in large crowds, and always with protective measures”, she said.
On March 13th, when the first cases of coronavirus in Kosovo have been confirmed, there are 884 infected with this disease, 655 have recovered, while 28 have lost their battle with this disease.
