12 new cases with Avid-19 in Albania total the number of affected

In Albania today, positive results have proved to be among the 19 people, bringing the total to 868.

According to the Institute of Health, in the last 24 hours 170 suspected citizens have been tested as affected by Covid-19 and have resulted in positive 12 citizens.

These new infected people are contact of previous cases, broadcasting OraNews.

While the distribution of the affected with COVID19 is as follows: 8 cases in Tirana, 2 in Kamuz, 1 in Kruja and 1 in Fier.

Hospitals during the last few days, we have an improved situation in hospitals. Currently in two COVID hospitals, in the infectious hospital and hospital “Chiefs Rudoku”, 29 patients are laid down and only 4 of them are in intensive therapy, and we have no life loss for more than 10 days.

Healed only in the last 24 hours are 23 citizens. Of the 868 total infected, 650 citizens, or about 75%, have recovered. There are currently 187 active people across the country with COVID19, mainly in Tirana, Kruje, Shkodra, Kamez.

Fewer than 15% of active affects are receiving treatment in the civil hospitals, the rest are followed by family doctor.

Relief of the measures - As you are aware of Monday, May 11th will have another easing of the measures. From tomorrow they are added as green municipal areas: Lushnje, Patos, Roskovec, Korca, Has, Kukes, Lezha, Mirdays, Fushe-Arrez, Great Malece, Puka, Vau Deje, Kawaja and Vora, with the same rules.

In these areas inter-city circulation is permitted within green private vehicle areas, allowing for more than two people of the same family to travel until 9:00.

Similarly, they are allowed to operate according to strict security protocols, dental clinics, wigs, barbers and shops at malls.

Starting on May 11th, all repatriated will be self - quarantined at the apartment.

Despite the ease of the measures, the Health and Social Protection Ministry invites citizens to respect the rules, maintain physical distance and personal hygiene; businesses implement safety protocols to maintain the health of citizens.
