Wessel, accompanied by the mayor of this municipality Ramiz Ladrovci, said many entrepreneurs have been notified of the renovation of this mosque, considered the second oldest facility in this municipality.
We are at God's house, in a temple of forgiveness before God, where our countrymen have prayed, at the same time, and at the same time a haven of homeland. This mosque over five centuries of history is a witness to all the historical developments our nation has witnessed. Remember, we're in a village in the last war, there's been one of the largest massacres in the whole Republic of Kosovo. The message is this, we will defend our historical monuments, as is this mosque, to the fact that this is a historical monument. It is also good news that there are many entrepreneurs who, even in these grave conditions of pandemic, have expressed a desire to help restore and preserve this religious and historical cult”, Wessel said.
Drenas Mayor Ramiz Ladrovci said that burning the mosque is a criminal act and that the authors must be brought to justice.
This is the second oldest mosque in our municipality, but it's a mosque that's in a strategic location, and we're close to the tower of Vboci, and I'm the normal one that's tried this criminal act of burning a mosque that's never made a way for anyone to commit such a crime... We guarantee that our support and support will be given. I have appealed to the bodies to conduct investigations as soon as possible and what made this crime bring to justice”, he said.
The chairman of the Islamic Community in Drenas Valon Beqku said this mosque is one of the oldest religious objects in Drenica, until he said the same was used by soldiers during the war.
It's one of the oldest objects, the second in Drenica I'm talking about as a religious object and it's been 545 years since this facility was built and it's got a big story. Even Cacaks of various wars have often been sheltered and their obligations carried out. Because even the mountain is very near and has continued its course for freedom that we enjoy today. I also thank the mayor of the municipality who has been the first to react and have expressed interest in obtaining donations and the clock for President Kadri Wessel's attention that many of the friends have been organized to donate donations to the renovation of this (4)x1> mosque, he said.
During our visit to Drenas, Wessel has also visited some of the forests that have burned the end of the valley as well as farmers.
