According to Ec Mau otherwise, Prizren chairman Mytaher Haskuka, who comes from the Vetevendosje Movement, has ignored the pledge of transparency in procurement, writes Periscope.
“REAGIM: The tender for the city's inside is ignoring the pledge of procurement transparency.
The procurement activity for the creation and maintenance of Prizren's city, initiated by the Prizren municipality, in addition to ignoring recommendations provided in the Prizren Historical Centre Management Plan 2019-2028, also conflicts with the pledges of the head of this municipality for radical transparency in procurement”, it is said in their response.
This NGO has also reminded President Haskuka of his promises during the election campaign.

REAGIM: The tender for city inside ignores pledge for procurement transparency
The procurement activity for the creation and maintenance of Prizren's city, initiated by the Prizren municipality, in addition to ignoring recommendations provided in the Prizren Historical Centre Management Plan 2019-2028, conflicts with the pledge of the head of this municipality for radical transparency in procurement.
The contract announcement for this procurement activity (https://kk.rks-gov.net/.../2.../04/B05-Nyoftim-per-Contrat-7.pdf), according to the Prizren municipality, is prepared on March 17, 2020. In this report, it writes that the deadline for accepting tenders has been 6 April 2020. Strangely, however, this Prizren Community website has been published on April 15, 2020, or 9 days after opening the tender at the Procurement Office.
EC Ma otherwise recalls that radical transparency in any procurement process has been one of Prizren's mayor's preliminary pledges. In the procurement activity for the creation and maintenance of Prizren's city, this principle has been violated.
The next pre-election vow by Prizren municipality chairman has been implementation of the Management Plan for the Prizren Historical Centre. On this issue, two weeks ago the Cultural Organisations Network reacted, stressing that Prizren's municipality has left the city's domestication issue to the tenders, and has demanded cancellation of the tender. ROK has considered that the inside should be a reliable, measurable and vulnerable document in order to empower the identifying aspect of Prizren's city, as the Management Plan defines. ROK has stressed that Prizren's municipality should draft a comprehensive process of drafting the city's domestication process and not only reduce it to a tender of graphic design form. The institution process, according to this network, should initially be open and transparent process with the public and then complete or peak with its graphic interpretation. (full ROK response: https://ecmete.org/?page=1,17,718# XqaD vRS-M8).
Since the already procurement process for the creation and maintenance of Prizren's city conflicts with good governance practices, as well as with the mayor's two pre-electoral pledges, E CMa mo would like to cancel this procurement activity. It also calls on municipal leadership to adhere to pre-election pledges in other areas of local government.
