The number of deaths in the United States increased by 1,147 overnight to bring the total of casualties to 10,358, as the number of confirmed cases across the country rose by 25.841, bringing the balance to 347,516.
New York remains the focus of the explosion of about 500 new deaths and more than 8,900 new cases since Monday.
Health officials have warned that the death toll from Corleone is actually much higher given that there is no defined way for reporting deaths throughout the country concerning pandemic.
