United States marks record victims of the virus for 24 hours

During the past 24 hours, 2,228 victims of the new disease were registered in the United States.

Last Friday, the United States for the first time recorded more than 2,000 victims with 2,069 deaths in 24 hours.

The data from this agency that reported on the victims' record was based on figures published by the University “Johns Hopkins”.

Earlier, United States President Donald Trump has said he will reduce the funds his country donates to the World Health Organization because of the way this organisation has responded to pandemic.

In contrast, the United States is the country that donates mostly financial means to the organization.

So far, the United States is in the world's first place, with over 609 thousand cases of Coronavirus and more than 26 thousand victims.
