Thaci: I will act in accordance with the Constitution, here I meet tomorrow

Thaci has said in accordance with the Kosovo Constitution will continue consultations with political parties on forming new institutions, Periscopi reports.

The institutional “Life continues, today as president of respect for the Constitution and the laws of Kosovo, following the no-confidence motion against the Kosovo government I am obliged to start consultation with political parties with their leaders for the further steps to the confirmation of the new Kosovo institutions”,

“Today I have met with LVVA, the LDK chairman with their teams and PDK) chairman. Tomorrow I will continue to meet other leaders in order to create a base of opinion or form further actions that I must take as president of the country. My base will be full respect for civic legitimacy, taking into account the vote of confidence on March 25th. All further actions that will take as president after consultations will be transparent in accordance with the Constitution, laws but also previous practices. So it will be a controversial constitutional and legal process for which you will immediately be notified”, the president declared.

The president has said that tomorrow he will meet with the chairman of AAKA, Initiative, with the Serbian List, as well as with the deputies of Group 6 +.

He has therefore said that all actions will be transparent and consistent with the Constitution.
