QU INT declared about political developments in Kosovo

The declaration of the QUINT countries comes after meeting these countries' ambassadors had with President Hashim Thaci today, who has announced about the request he made to LDK Chairman Isa Mustafa to offer the candidate for the formation of the new government.
We have meetings with political and institutional leaders to listen to their views and accept information so that we can keep our governments informed about developments. Attending such meetings does not signal approval or support for any particular position or course of action. This is in line with normal diplomatic practice”, the joint declaration of the QUINT countries says.
The presidency reports that Thaci has told the ambassadors that every step he is taking is in line with the Constitution and the laws of Kosovo, and that after consultations with political parties it is clear that the absolute majority are in favour of forming the new government without the dissolution of the Assembly and conforming this expressed will and in line with the Constitution and Kosovo laws has demanded from the LDK candidate or candidate to form the new government.
