After confirmation by the National Public Health Institute of 27 new positive cases in Kosovo today with SARS-Cov-2, of which 20 in Pristina, Health Minister Arben Vitita, in consultation with Pristina municipality chairman Shpend Ahmeti, issued the decision to declare Pristina as a quarantine zone.
With this decision, access and exits to the Pristina municipality are banned.
The announcement issued by the ministry is said to be “-Obligation of all citizens to respect the measures according to the guidelines of the National Public Health Institute”.
The MS makes this decision with the aim of preventing further spread of the Comvid -19 pandemic in the Republic of Kosovo.
A similar decision today has been made for the Ferizaj municipality, since residents of this municipality are suspected of having direct contact with the infected person Coronavirus Couvius-19.
For other cases besides Pristina I KSHPK will announce tonight after testing all of today's samples.
Tomorrow, April 12th 2020, an extraordinary media conference will be held where new rigorous measures to be introduced that will be undertaken for the further spread ofvis-19 to Kosovo.
