Mr. Latifi has mentioned Italian great thinker Nikollo Makiavell to answer a very ancient political question: why do politicians, even when they break their promises, again make other promises and win support?
The thinker from Florence expressed the belief that “people were generally naive, believed easily, and had short-term memories, and that they were guided by the need of the moment and would be quickly deceived. ”
In fact, Makiavell writes in his great work “Prince” that the most powerful feeling citizens can control is not that of faith, or love, but that of fear.
