Operation in Post, Kurti Board has dismissed chief chief and chief financial official of the KP

I announce the public opinion and all employees of the Kosovo Post that today the acting Board of Directors of the Kosovo Post has made political interference by making illegal and unbased decisions in no fact for my dismissal from the position of Chief Executive Chief and Financial Official Behxhet Maliqi.

In addition, about half an hour after the start of the meeting, dozens of police have come before the entrance of the Post and others inside the Post, near the meeting door. Posta didn't invite the police because there was no reason. The board and their bosses have taken scandalous action with the evolution of police within the Post, disturbing workers and damaging the public company's image.

I have been appointed to this position on October 14, 2019, through regular public competition, and so far neither this Bord nor any other body or institution has found, nor can I find any harmful or illegal acts, except to work in the face of the major challenges we have faced since the appointment day.

The Kosovo Post's financial difficulties date from the partition of the Post from Kosovo Telecom (Vala) in 2012.

Meanwhile, in 2019 we completed it with positive performance, up 4 percent respectively. Since I've been elected to this position, no official trip has been made, no expense on my part or the rest of the management.

There has also been no employment, no contract on work, etc., but there have been further reductions of any possible operational spending.

Besides, there's been a steady increase in income in the Post, in all categories, and all these facts are also known to the temporary board. The COVIDD-19 virus's appearance in Kosovo has also affected the Post, but at no time have we stopped working. On the contrary, with self - sacrifice and sacrifice of all Post workers, we have been able to provide services throughout Kosovo, including in cities and villages in quarantine. We've made the social assistance distribution record for over 20,000 beneficiaries without a single incident that has thanked us for.

Since taking office, together with the management we have drafted concrete, very easily feasible strategies and plans that would enable the Post to extend long-term financial stability and development in all sectors. The strategy and plan have also been handed over to this Government, and we have expected their political envoys through the provisional board to carry out their work by adopting measures that would make the Post public company profitable.

But this government and its tools in this Bord decided to misuse power. At the first meeting with this Bord they with no shame came with decisions prepared in party propaganda kitchens.

In view of this, we cannot name today's arbitrary intervention, except that this Bord acted on political and party orders, not worrying about legal laws and procedures for false propaganda purposes and efforts for low political gains.

This Bord vasals indicated that it aims only to damage the Kosovo Post and its workers.

I warn all political envoys on this Bord and their bosses fired from the Kosovo Assembly with 2/3 of the votes, that we will sue at the respective institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.

I take the opportunity to thank from the heart all the workers and all my associates in the Kosovo Post, with which we faced various challenges, but we came out in a great way. I tell you that your messages, that we do not accept any cooperation with the political envoys of the violent masses, we do not accept them for the sake of the difficult situation in which our people and country are located.
