The bride and groom, in a chronice prepared by the REL, discuss what marriage is like without a wedding.
Drnor Osmanaj and Edona Krasniqi are married on 12 April. This is one of the few marriages in Kosovo that are taking place in pandemic times.
Without scratch and without guests Edona and Drnor from Istog were married on Sunday.
The whole world is fighting pandemic, trying to keep some distance, but it's safe. And normal is that feeling they say, "Look at these guys, at this time they're getting married." Many of my plans have broken this virus, so I have not allowed to ruin this moment, to bring my wife into my family”, Drénor said, follows the telegram.
For their wedding, he had previously booked his restaurant and everything else, but COVID-19 ruined every plan.
“like any other wedding, we planned to gather both families, including my family and Drenor. But unfortunately, both families are outside Kosovo. It happened how it happened and everything was canceled, but we're still together”, says Edona.
She says that their family circle is upset because they have not been near them. But they have been with us today, with their minds and hearts, on April 12. With us they have celebrated, even though they have been far away from us”.
The wedding date Edona and Drenor had been set up a year earlier.
