Malisheva Mayor Ragip Begaj has declared that of the 70 infected persons in this municipality, 31 are healed, while others are in stable condition, as he stressed that the municipality he is leading is managing well the situation created with COVID-19 and heading towards stabilisation.

In an interview for Kosova Preess, he says he expects to be released even today a number of coronary victims from the hospital.

“Today is the 4th day that people affected by coronarys are in good condition, are in good shape, and I believe Malisheva is heading towards stabilisation, we have the number 31 ready and today we're waiting for more information from the center and I believe they'll be fine in the coming days and will be released to this day by” Hospital, Begaj says.

As for the accusations this municipality received for disrespect of quarantine, the first of Malisheva says that citizens have moved when they were unaware they are infected, and after realizing they started to implement quarantine.

A number of citizens who have been social cases, which are about 720 cases in Malisheva, following the spread of COVID-19, have become even more economically damaged, and Begaj says that they are being constantly assisted with food and sanitation packages so that they can stay at home.

“Malevo is very careful, citizens are respecting the rules, but this phenomenon is not easy to prevent, because we don't have days since «we're the second municipality that has spread this virus and people haven't known they've had contact among people without knowing that they're infected, now that it's been agreed, people are very careful and I believe that this care will continue... so far around a thousand and 500 families we've supplied to the Malishev municipality, we've had 720 social cases that we've doubled the number of other cases, that we're just to help you not get out, Beg>

Begaj says nine villages in Malisheva have been in solitary confinement until there are no new cases, and the last case says it was in the village of Banja, which is the tenth village, which he says are being conducted with some tests.

In addition to the COVIED-19 pandemic, this municipality now has the time to show the ticks which also create big problems, however, it says that by the past three years, bite intensity has dropped.

Begaj made it known that within these days they will begin to spray the ground.

“We have disinfected spaces even yesterday in families that have been affected by this virus, while the issue of ticks has remained for us in the second hand, although it should now be first-hand because of their time and moment, yet compared to the past three years the intensity of the bites has dropped and now there are much less bites, so 7 years we have no infection at all, there is no hemorrhage in the Malisheva municipality. This year we have to be careful, start spraying the terrain, but it takes a bigger look at the key and a greater help from the central level to deal with this”, Begaj said.

We remember that the number of Coronavirus infected in the Malisheva municipality is 39, and the 31 recovered.
