Limaj compares VV governance to those of authoritarian countries

Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj has said arbitrary decisions may at first seem attractive and applauded, but this way of governing will turn into the collapse of the legal order.

The head of the Initiative has said that governing through arbitrary decisions is the method and logic of authoritarian governments who hate legal procedures and law enforcement.

Limaj alluding to VV governance has said that Kosovo is witness to a government of such people that written law makes sense to them only if it is in line with their political goal.

Any legal procedure that is not in accordance with their political interest they either ignore or try to interpret as agreed at that moment. They create their reality and they want and work to force them all, because their logic is “we are the owner of absolute right”, has written, among other things, Limaj in his account in “Facebook”

Days ago at T7, I said arbitrary decisions may at first seem attractive and applauded, but this way of governing will turn into a collapse of the legal order.

Because arbitrary decisions (lack of professional consulting, bypassing the necessary legal procedures) are entirely motivated by interests or needs of day-to-day policies, which objectively have fraud to create the impression that they are doing the work expected of them or have a revenge motive for third parties.

In fact, governance through arbitrary decisions is the method and logic of authoritarian governments who hate legal procedures, law enforcement until the verdict is issued, and now Kosovo is witnessing a government with people at «such as to them the written law makes sense only if it is in line with their political goal.
