The LDK, AAK and the Initiative are already close to finalising the ruling coalition agreement.
Finalisation of this agreement is expected to take place today, or tomorrow. This for the Blic newspaper was confirmed by LDK deputy chairman Haki Rugova, who says government formation is also expected this week, until he says negotiations with co-operative parties are in conclusion.
“We are negotiating with the coalition parties for the agreement, it is expected to be finalised today or tomorrow, and then sent to the Assembly, this week the formation of the” government is expected, Rugova said.
The Democratic League of Kosovo has already decided for its candidate for prime minister, where with the approval and support of the LDK General Council, Avdullah Hoti, was chosen as the frontrunner to lead with the executive.
But it is still unknown whether the LDK has sent Hoti's name to the president to mandate him.
