LDK, AAK agree not to support no-confidence motions against incoming government

The Democratic League of Kosovo and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo have signed the agreement for co-ordination today.
Signing this agreement confirmed AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj after meeting with LDK Chairman Isa Mustafa and candidate for prime minister Avdullah Hoti.
Under this agreement, the AAK will have the post of first deputy prime minister and four ministries -- that of foreign affairs and diaspora, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Economy and Environment and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
In the agreement, which Telegrafi has secured, the basic objectives of the LDK-AAK coalition are combating the COVID-19 pandemic, completing dialogue with Serbia with mutual recognition, restoring the economy after the pandemic, strengthening the legal state through the fight against crime and corruption, and strengthening partnership with the European Union and the United States of America.
Next in agreement it is stressed that “The LDK and AAK agree to govern together at the central level, in the mandate of the seventh legislature in a coalition run by the Democratic League of Kosovo, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, the Social Democrat Initiative, the New Kosovo Alliance, the Serbian List and representatives of non-partisan communities in the Kosovo Assembly”.
As for the issue of the number of deputy ministers these two subjects have agreed that the number of deputy ministers be distributed in terms of the political power of coalition partners in distribution of ministries.
The LDK and AAK have also pledged that in the government cabinet to appoint high professional competences, image purity, not having had and not to have problems with the law, as well as to have the will for team work.
Another point of this agreement that the LDK and AAK have agreed on is the issue of raising the no-confidence motion on this government.
“The LDK and AAK will not back no-confidence motions initiated by other parties in parliament”, the agreement said.
