The deputy chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Smajl Latifi, has declared that they are willing to contribute to forming new government, as it says Kosovo is not ready for new elections.
AAK Deputy Chairman Smajl Latifi claims they are willing to co-operate for a powerful government. Until he stressed that this government must be established in accordance with the country's constitution.
“We are interested in Kosovo having a powerful government, with full legal competencies and of course interested in Kosovo, not having institutional vacuum and containing processes... The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo is ready with all its capacities, understood by having a clear orientation and commitment, seeing even the highest priority as being willing to contribute its own, behind an active role in forming or strengthening the position of the Republic of Kosovo, even from the point of making Kosovo with a government that has general, competencies and clear priorities, and of course is in office and the interest of the state, whether it is in the face of unregulated neighbours Serbia, cultivating external reports, whether Kosovo has the major topics, Lafis says in an interview with Kosovo.
At this time when Kosovo is facing the COVID-19 pandemic, Latifi stressed that our country is not ready for new elections.
As for Vetevendosje, which has called for elections, Latifi called for reflection and correction.
“is not the time for elections, no one fears elections, nor the AAK, but we six months ago had elections and we have no reason to create a situation, which we once again appeal to the people of Kosovo for extraordinary elections. If only someone has asked for elections and everyone else estimates it's not the moment for elections, then in this case the VV, it should be more correct because they were in government and no one is to blame that it took so many days for what the people say, “that destroys the system with the only partner they named the LDK and leave Kosovo with full competence”, says Lafie.
As for the electoral process within the AAK, he says he has been cut off due to the danger of the coronary. Until he stressed that after the passage of pandemic, this issue will be considered.
When we have an infected case in Kosovo, in some way the atmosphere was created, the emergency state of public health was imposed, and we cut off all domestic electoral activities and have done well... We have sacrificed for the sake of the citizens”, says Latifi.
Otherwise, Rahovez is one of the untouched municipalities.
